    DESCRIPTION

    This notice serves to notify interested parties that the Government intends to issue a solicitation for the supply of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fenders.

    DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, requires a contract for the supply and delivery of HDPE fenders to support maintenance operations at locks along the Illinois Waterway.

    The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment necessary to manufacture and deliver the required fenders.

    The requirement includes, but is not limited to:

    • HDPE Fenders (20’ x 10” x 7”) – Qty: 10 Each
    • HDPE Fenders (21’ x 10” x 8”) – Qty: 20 Each

    Fenders shall be constructed of HDPE, include embedded fiberglass reinforcement, and meet specifications to be provided in the solicitation.

    DELIVERY

    Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Peoria, Illinois.
    Required delivery is within 20 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).
