NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Pacific Region Office (PRO), intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price order with Perimeter Equipment, a Non-Indian Owned Business, for the purchase of a Woods BW15.51 Batwing Rotary Cutter, with the attached specifications, under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Source and No Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements". Due to a potential compromise in public safety, there is an urgent operational need and Perimeter Equipment LLC. (SAM UEI #U8TJEN493QK9) can meet an immediate delivery date of 8/22/25 to zip code 57625. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310 and the Business Size Standard is $12.5M. This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source only. This is not a request for competitive quotes, solicitation announcement or an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation or RFQ, nor does it restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. No combined synopsis/solicitation, solicitation, or solicitation package is expected to be issued for this procurement at this time. No technical questions will be answered regarding this requirement. This notice does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The Government will not make an award based on any responses received to this notice. Responses will be used by the Government to help determine the appropriate acquisition strategy decision for this and any future requirements similar to this one. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responsible source who believes BIA should not pursue this procurement and who can meet or exceed the same requirements listed above may submit clear and convincing evidence, capability statement, complete equipment specifications, delivery and pricing information no later than 8/19/25, 9am, Pacific to Jodi Zachary, Contract Specialist, via email at jodi.zachary@bia.gov.
