Include your business size and SAM s UEI#. Specifications: Must be compatible with GE Healthcare Discovery NM/CT 870 DR SPECT. Work must be completed by certified GE service engineer. GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: GE HealthCare Radial2 Gearbox Scope of Work: Our facility requires a new Radial2 Gearbox to replace the current one that is leaking oil for the SPECT in the Radiology clinic. The vendor shall provide parts to repair the GE Healthcare SPECT. All materials provided shall be in accordance with the OEM specifications and guidelines. Work shall be completed as soon as possible after award. Background: The Radial2 Gearbox is a motor that allows for radial movement in the scanner. The current one, while still functionable, is leaking oil which will become progressively worse overtime. The VAMHCS requires a replacement part and service for the repair and proper operation of the GE Healthcare SPECT critical to patient care. Performance Period: The period of performance for this requirement will be 1 full workday. This job will include the replacement of the Radial2 Gearbox for the GE SPECT. Type of Contract: One time repair Place of Performance: Baltimore VA Medical Center 10 North Greene Street Baltimore, MD 21201 Biomedical Engineering 5B-183 Performance Based Contract: N/A Security: The contractor must have a photo ID available when performing work at the VA Medical Center and be willing to present it to VA staff. The contractor is responsible for providing any personal protective equipment (PPE) that is deemed necessary to complete tasks stated in this requirement. The contractor must follow the VA Maryland Health Care Systems current COVID-19 guidance for entry to any medical center or Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
