Question 4: For CLIN 0003 (Off Site Surgical Equipment Repair), repair costs vary widely depending on instrument type basic laparoscopic repairs may be a few hundred dollars, while scope repairs can be several thousand. To ensure correct pricing, please clarify whether the Government expects: a single fixed unit price for all off site repairs, regardless of instrument/ device type, a $0.00 CLIN entry with an attached tiered rate table (Minor/Moderate/Major NTE), or a pricing range (lowest highest) listed directly in CLIN 0003? Answer: CLINs 0003, 1003, 2003, 3003, and 4003 are $0 line items as this service will be as needed. Any repairs outside of the SOW will require an awarded contract modification if determined necessary by the CO. Contractors can provide separate tiered pricing for reference with their solicitation quote package. Question 5: Loaner Equipment Expectations: The SOW states: Loaner equipment must be available while instruments are being repaired off-site. : a.) Are scopes included in loaner expectations? b.) What about power equipment? c.)
