NIKON SORA MICROSCOPE MAINTENANCE SERVICE

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 13.5 and SUBPART 12.6 - STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES ARE UTILIZED IN THIS PROCUREMENT. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219- Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.

The purpose of this procurement is to procure the renewal of the Nikon SoRa Maintnenance Service agreement for the spinning disk microscope (Serial# 95V50006), including Ti2-E electrical coverage (Serial# 541934) and accompanying LUNF XL Lasers Unit (Serial# 19001547). The period of performance is 12 months.

This combined synopsis/solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ), prepared utilizing FAR 12 procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is performed as a full and open competition. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov, and https://www.acquisition.gov/hhsar. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06 October 1, 2025.
