NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PURE WATER SCIENTIFIC PWS-7000-1 SYSTEM

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT.

This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 5.201 to notify the public of a proposed contract action.

The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code is 333310 – Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The SBA size standard is 1000 employees. The proposed contract action is for Pure Water Scientific PWS-7000-1 system. 

The U.S Agency of Global Media (USAGM) intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Pure & Secure, LLC. 4511 NW 42nd St. Lincoln, NE 68524.

The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, which reads in part, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”

Pure & Secure, LLC is the only known source able to provide the Pure Water Scientific PWS-7000-1 system compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed.

The Period of Performance will be three (3) months. No substitution can be accepted.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. 

Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than May 7, 2026 at 1:00PM EST. All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contacts specified in this notice.

Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information in response to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
