NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - STAND-IN ATTACK WEAPON (SIAW) & ADVANCED ANTI-RADIATION GUIDED MISSILE-EXTENDED RANGE (AARGM-ER) SYSTEM IDIQ

Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract and/or separate contract(s) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, 9401 Corbin Ave # 2 Northridge, CA 91324. This acquisition will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, using a combination of all contract types. The Period of Performance is from date of award to Dec 2026 and will cover an additional 8 one-year options (estimated: 1 July 2025 – 31 Dec 2034).

Northrop Grumman is the current producer and sustainment provider for the Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) and Advanced Anti-Radiation Ground Munition-Extended Range (AARGM-ER) Weapon Systems and is the only known company that has detailed knowledge necessary to provide the required goods and services for both SiAW and AARGM-ER Weapon Systems. Northrop Grumman possesses the necessary access to the weapon technical data, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Selection of any other vendor would result in a substantial duplication of effort to develop similar technical data, comprising the development of SiAW as well as an unacceptable delay in fulfilling the agency's requirements. Anticipated award of this contract is on or about 1 July 2025.

The scope of this IDIQ contract incorporates life cycle support of both SiAW and AARGM-ER Weapon Systems. This lifecycle support includes all efforts to support work that is aligned with the MTA in support of SiAW specific efforts and to support both production and research and development for AARGM-ER, to provide coverage of future work for the AARGM-ER Weapon System, hardware design and development, systems engineering and integration, system modeling, qualification and testing as well as repair capability for delivered test assets.
