The Bid Opening date and time is hereby revised/extended to 10 July 2024 at 1100 EST. The Period of Performance is also confirmed at 270 days.***Amendment U0002 is to address RFIs, remove the Draft watermark label from Amendment 0001, update Specs, Drawings and update the Bidding Schedule. The due date is extended to 9 July 2024 at 1100 EST. Also the Government now has up to 30 days to review PLAs. Contractors are also provided 30 days after award to submit their PLAs.******Amendment U0001 is to account for Clause 52.236-4 which stipulates Physical Data information. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged--including the due date and time. ***The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District (NAP) has a requirement (W912BU24B0010) to perform periodic beach nourishment as authorized for the Manasquan Inlet to Barnegat Inlet Coastal Storm Risk Management Project (CSRM). The project provides coastal storm damage reduction by maintaining an engineered beach throughout the Manasquan Inlet to Barnegat Inlet project area. The Manasquan Inlet to Barnegat Inlet beachfill project is located along the Atlantic Ocean coastline of Ocean County, New Jersey between Manasquan Inlet and Barnegat Inlet. The project area encompasses a total of 13 miles of ocean shoreline which includes the contiguous municipalities of Point Pleasant Beach, Bay Head, Mantoloking,Brick Township, Toms River Township, Lavallette, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Township. The contract work consists of a basebid to place approximately 2,100,000 cubic yards of beachfill to replenish the existing engineered beach. In addition, the project will incorporate the construction or repair of pedestrian, vehicle, and Americans with Disability Act compliant, (ADA), dune crossovers; planting dune grass; installings and fencing and the relocation or removal of various existing structures and obstructions to accommodate the placement of the beachfill. The period of performance of the base bid is 270 days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contract may also consist of separate options to place additional amounts of beach fill. Bids are due 28 June 2024 2PM EST.
