All items shall be NEW approved items. Offerors proposing an alternate part must submit documentation demonstrating that their product meets or exceeds the solicitation requirements. General statements of compliance or restatements of requirements are not sufficient. Offerors must clearly indicate in writing that they are offering an alternate part by annotating their quote accordingly. The required salient characteristics are detailed in the evaluation criteria within the Terms and Conditions and in the attached Salient Characteristics document. This document must be completed and submitted with the offer when quoting an alternate part.
