The clauses may be accessed in full text at the following websites: - https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far - https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Pentagon Directorate intends to solicit - on behalf of Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) - a sole source effort with Vendor: Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), Incorporated (CAGE: 4RUB7). The proposed acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Deca under the authority of FAR part 13 and FAR part 12. NRC intends to acquire services to support the US Navy recruiting and outreach opportunities at a DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) - which is solely available from DECA (CAGE: 4RUB7). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, DECA (CAGE: 4RUB7), IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1). As previously stated, the required services have been determined to be only available from a single source, DECA. Interested persons may submit a capability statement by the specified response date. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes from any source other than DECA (CAGE: 4RUB7). However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Performance/Delivery: Performance is anticipated to occur at the contractors facility unless otherwise specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). It is anticipated that only DECA (CAGE: 4RUB7) is eligible for award consideration under this solicitation.
