RRB WRESTLING MATS

The South Dakota National Guard has a requirement for wrestling mats.  **Wrestling Mat Specifications: The required wrestling mat system shall meet the following physical dimensions, performance standards, and graphic specifications: I. Physical Dimensions and Construction: Overall Area: The complete system shall cover a total area of 42 feet long x 42 feet Wide x 2 inches Tall. Sections: The system shall consist of seven (7) individual sections, each measuring 6 feet Wide x 42 feet long x 2 inches Tall. Assembly: Mat sections shall utilize tapeless construction and include hook- and-loop (Velcro-style) fasteners for attaching sections securely together. II. Materials and Performance Standards: The mats shall be constructed from a high-performance, closed-cell, crosslinked polyethylene foam core that is lightweight, resilient, and designed to not harden, shrink, break down, or crack with repeated use. The surface shall be a tough, smooth vinyl backed with nonwoven polyester for maximum strength and comfort, bonded using an advanced technique ensuring the surface will never require reconditioning. The material must be non-hardening, non-shrinking, noncracking, and non-tearing. Hygiene: The vinyl mat surface shall be treated with an infused biocidal additive registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act) to provide antibacterial properties. Maintenance: The final construction must be easy to clean and maintain. Compliance: All materials and construction must adhere strictly to industry standards ASTM F1081 Type 1 and ASTM F355. III. Color and Markings: The wrestling mat system shall be black in color with specific markings applied: 10-Foot Circle: A 10-foot diameter black circle with start marks outlined in a contrasting color (e.g., gold). 32-Foot Circle: A 32-foot diameter tan circle with an outline. Logos (2 each): Two (2) South Dakota Army National Guard Shield Logos applied with a three-color imprint: black, white, and gold. Two (2) Coyote Patch Logos applied in opposite corners from the National Guard Shield Logo, with a four-color imprint: gold, blue, white, and red. Text: Four (4) instances of the uppercase text "NATIONALGUARD.COM/SD" in white color, placed centered 2 feet in from the bottom edge of the mat, within an area measuring 14 feet Wide x 1 foot High.  This will be a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Set-Aside, resulting in a Firm Fixed Price Award. **
