SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - MARKET RESEARCH - LIQUID CHILLER UNIT PARTS

Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (NAVSUP FLCPS) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time.

NAVSUP FLCPS intends to award a Sole Source contract to Trident Marine Systems dba Lake Shore Systems. Trident Marine Systems dba Lake Shore Systems owns the proprietary equipment, proprietary drawings and is the only vendor able to supply required Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) IMECO – Trident Maritime Systems dba Lake Shore Systems liquid chiller parts. 

Again, this is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the due date listed within. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment And Commercial And Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 (Number of Employees).  The Federal Supply Code is 4110- Refrigeration Equipment.  The Government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the required supplies.

INFORMATION REQUESTED FROM INDUSTRY:

If your organization has the potential capacity to supply these parts, please provide the following information:

1. Organization name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail); your company's business size type/status.
2. Authorized Distributor letter from the OEM.

All responses shall be sent via email to the Contract Specialist identified in this announcement. The Contracting Officer identified in this announcement shall be CC’d on all responses.
