SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - SLING CARGO NET

Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (NAVSUP FLCPS) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time.

NAVSUP FLCPS intends to award a 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE for a Brand Name or Equal contract for 170 (one hundred and seventy) each of requirement item CARGO NET SLINGS with the description and part number equal to the following MIL-S-1831G 14X14 FT // CN4500-14-MIL.  Cargo Net Slings must be MIL-S-1831G.

Again, this is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the due date listed within. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332618 Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 (Number of Employees).  The Federal Supply Code is 2090 Miscellaneous Ship and Marine Equipment.  The Government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the required supplies.
