STERILIZER MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, Fort Carson Bliss Contracting Branch intends to award a sole source contract with Steris Corporation for the maintenance and repair of Steris steam sterilizers (x2) ,and ultrasonic cleaner (x1) for continuity of patient care with sterilization requirements. Steris Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the equipment. This also includes all proprietary services associated with the installation, implementation, training and support of the software at Weed Army Community Hospital (WACH) Fort Irwin, CA.

The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 01 April 2026 to 30 Sept 2030. The NAICS code 811219, size standard is $34.0 million. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.

The solicitation number is W81K00-26-Q-A095 and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
