TUBE BENDER CONVERSION KIT

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Pines Engineering (CAGE Code 74QK6) on a sole source basis for the procurement of one (1) Tube Bender Conversion Kit for converting a Land-based Tube Bender to a Shipboard Tube Bender. The items included in the kit are listed below:

MTG Frame, Front-RH (1), MTG Frame- Front- LH (1), MTG Frame, Rear- RH (1), MTG Frame, Rear- LH (1), MTG Frame, Side (2), Rear Bracket Assy (1), Bracket Assy., Front- Weld (1),  Gusset, Vertical Shelf (2), Gusset, R S End (1), Gusset, L S End (1), Support, Vert Beam (1), Support Shelf (1), Bracket Assy (1), Rear Support Assy (1), Plate MTG (1), Pin Brake (2).

The Government intends to procure the above effort under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible source are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
