Purpose: Provide industry with information concerning the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) requirements / formerly known as Command Information Management System III (CIMS III).
Requirement Description: Provide US Army SMDC Information Technology / Information Management (IT/IM) support services. Services include: Computer, Network and Visual Information Operations (Video Teleconferencing (VTC)) and Telecommunications Support; Knowledge Management, Web Development Support; Information Assurance, Compliance and Cyber Security Operations; Automated Information Systems and Infrastructure (AISI) (VTC and Multimedia Systems & Suites), Network Infrastructure and Electronic Security Systems Integration, Upgrades, Modifications, Maintenance and Restoration; Alarm Monitoring (in accordance with UL-2050); Defense Travel System (DTS) Customer Support Help-desk; Government Travel Charge Card Support; and, Content Management (CM) and Business Process Analysis support service. The Prime contractor (and all potential subcontractors that will support this effort) must possess a TOP SECRET facility clearance and SECRET safeguarding capability at the time of award. The place of performance is Colorado Springs, Colorado and Huntsville, Alabama. The projected NAICS for this requirement is 541513.
The ordering period for the CIMS III Contract ends 15 May 2025. The current task orders (W9162023F4009 & W9162024F4010) issued from the Contract end 21 April 2026. The incumbent Contractor is Summit Technical Solutions, LLC. The Acquisition Strategy for this requirement has not been approved. However, it is anticipated that the USASMDC IT/IM requirements will be a small business set aside Task Order on a Strategic Source Contract vehicle. Market research will determine if a further socioeconomic set aside is appropriate. The award of the USASMDC IT/IM requirements is anticipated in the 2nd quarter of fiscal year 2026. This date is subject to change, and by no means, is to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
