USDA FOREST SERVICE HELITACK SUPPORT TRAILER

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1284LM26Q0016 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a towable trailer to support USDA Forest Service Wildfire and Helitack Operations. Please see Amended Specifications (Attachment 2 - AMD 0001).

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336212. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

3/3/26 - AMD 0001 revises Attachment 1 (Section A, Solicitation Attachments), Attachment 2 - Trailer Specifications AMD 0001 (removes custom elements) and removes Attachment 3 Drawings (drawings are no longer applicable).  NOTE: Trailer should be a commercially available trailer with any add-ons available through the manufacturer. Please sign and return the SF-30 with your quote.
