VINYL PYRROLIDONE

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ).  A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. 

In accordance with FAR 6.302.1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Pacific IC Source, 35078 Vickey Way, Yucaipa CA 82399.    

This requirement is sole sourced to Pacific IC Source, as they can deliver the engineer specified approved vinyl pyrrolidone in required qty.460/LBS DRUM meeting the time sensitive project schedule. 

This is NOT a request for quotes. However, any firms believing that they can provide, may submit a written response no later than the closing of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated.  It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration.
