WH1 SYSTEM

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Bowhead Professional Solutions LLC (Bowhead). The NAICS is 332993. The Contractor shall manufacture and deliver WH1 System components per the WH1 Technical Data Package (TDP) and WH1 Auxiliary Components packages for support of the WH1 System integration into various platforms. 

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 4022(f)(1), as implemented in DFARS 206.001-70, Exception for prototype projects for follow-on production contracts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published.
