    Description

    This project consists of removing and replacing 4-inch and 6-inch thick P.C.C. sidewalk and ADA curb ramps compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). Work includes removal and replacement of existing P.C.C. sidewalk, driveway and curb ramps, installing detectable warning tile at ADA curb ramps, sidewalk curb, P.C.C. curb and gutter removal and replacement and reshaping disturbed areas and grades including 4-inch deep select topsoil and related fertilizing, sodding and watering. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall commence work on or after August 11, 2025 and no later than the date to begin work set forth in a Notice to Proceed from the City or its authorized representative, to the Contractor. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa. All work on this contract shall be completed by October 31, 2025. The beginning and completion dates will be included in and made part of the contract between the successful bidder and the City. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past the completion date. Vendors must log in to the eBidding system in order to submit a bid. No other method will be accepted.
