INVITATION TO BID Penn West University - California Campus, California, PA PWCA-26002 Adamson Stadium Grandstand Repairs Penn West University, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this Project consists of concrete repairs, masonry repointing, masonry coating removal and reapplication, joint repair, traffic coating removal and reapplication, crack injection, and wall saw-cutting and capping at the Adamson Stadium Grandstand. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, testing, etc. necessary for installation of all work as depicted on the Contract Drawings. Work shall be accomplished by a Single Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University. A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on May 13, 2026, at 10am, at Adamson Stadium, 170 California Road, Brownsville PA 15417. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Electronic Bids are due no later than 10am, EST on June 3, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted. PennBid provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process.
