They plan on replacing 10 VAVs that currently have 2 way valves for 3 ways and unit heaters that have no valves which they intend on putting 2 way valves on. Allerton controls the boxes I’m assuming. I’m not sure if the UH are under control because the UH in the penthouse we standalone with a line voltage stat it appeared. If they want Belimo we can provide the valve and Allerton can just wire them up and control until we take over the building VAVs. A1: Refer to sheet M501 for project scope. Quantity has been determined but final location has not. Location will be determined and finalized in construction. Submitted: 6/26/2026 08:47:25 AM (CT) Q2: We need to clarify if they are wanting conduit for the new equipment. Currently there is conduit stubbed up out of the TCPs that serve the equipment in the penthouse and the wiring is then free aired to the equipment where they have another stub up to catch the wires. If this is acceptable then we will proceed as is, otherwise it needs to be in conduit to meet our standards. Please ask if free air is acceptable wiring methods. A2: All new or reused conduit should comply with project specifications. That includes placing reused equipment circuits in conduit to ensure code and spec compliance.
