Bahamas Power & Light BPL-RFP-1317-26 ARMOURED COLLECTION & TRANSPORTATION SERVICES – NEW PROVIDENCE SCOPE OF SERVICES Site Walkabout – Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 at 11:00 am at PETER I. BETHEL BUILDING, BAILLOU HILL & TUCKER ROADS. All persons must have the correct PPE as per the following or they will not be allowed access to the site: Hard Hat Safety Shoes Safety Glasses Hi-visibility Vest The following stages describes in general, but does not limit the scope of the Services which the Contractor shall be required to perform: Armoured Services (a) The Contractor agrees to follow the Customer’s Transactional process for Armoured Delivery: (b) The Customer agrees to pay the Contractor for the services rendered at a rate outlined in Schedule 4 and agreed to by both parties. (c) For the purpose of this Tender, the definition of “one trip” is: The collection of an item(s) from or on behalf of the Customer and transporting the same to a place of the Customer’s choice. If for any reason the Customer requires that the same item(s) or another item(s) be transported to any other location or returned to the first location, then that will be another trip. (d) The Contractor takes full responsibility of all cash, checks and other valuables while in his custody and agrees to take all reasonable steps within his power to ensure that the Customer’s cash, checks and other valuables are protected during the process of transportation and until delivered to the intended destination. The Contractor maintains adequate insurance coverage for all cash, checks and other valuables while in his custody. ( e) The Contractor is responsible for ensuring their armoured vehicle is operational and available. If the armoured vehicle is non-operational and/or unavailable, the Contractor must contact the Security Manager – New Providence immediately so that the Manager can coordinate other arrangements. (f) Loss of package: The Contractor shall pay to the Customer the full value of any secured package which the Contractor failed to deliver intact as herein before provided (g) Damage package: The Contractor will bear responsibility for all damage packages. The Contractor must inform the Security Manager- New Providence immediately so that the Manager can coordinate other arrangements.
