All questions must be submitted online prior to February 2, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. Telephone and written inquiries will not be accepted.It is the intent to award the contract by Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Construction schedule for this work is anticipated to start by April 1, 2026 and be completed by October 1, 2026.A Pre-bid meeting will be held online on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Failure to bid all items will result in the rejection of the bid.Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check payable to the Borough of Aspinwall must be included with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond, a 100% labor and materials payment bond, and a 10% maintenance bond. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this contract. There are no liquidated damages for this project.A grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources provides partial funding for this project.Bids must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid package. Contract documents and specifications may be obtained from the online by registering with PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. The Borough of Aspinwall reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part of a Bid, and to waive informalities, and to award the Bid in the best interest of the Borough. No Bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days following the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids.
