    Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBidTM by Aston Township for Concord Square Stormwater Improvements, until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 18th day of May 2026 at which time and place they will be opened and the bid results posted on PennBid™. All documents and solicitation details are available online anytime at no cost at PennBid™ (www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Note, PennBid™ assesses a fee to the bidder who is issued the award. Click on the “Solicitations” and “View” tabs.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.The project involves the installation and replacement of storm sewer pipe and infrastructure of various sizes and materials, storm sewer inlet repair and replacement, asphalt repairs to roads, and yard restoration.This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a separate labor and materials bond both in the amount of 100% of the contract.Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
