    Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBid by Birmingham Township for Birmingham Hunt & The Knolls Storm Sewer Replacement, until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 25th day of February 2026 at which time and place they will be opened and the bid results posted on PennBid. All documents and solicitation details are available online anytime at no cost at PennBid (www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Note, PennBid assesses a fee to the bidder who is issued the award. Click on the “Solicitations” and “View” tabs.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.The project involves the replacement of storm sewer pipe and infrastructure of various sizes and materials, storm sewer inlet repair and replacement, asphalt repairs to roads and driveways, concrete curb repair, and yard restoration.All work must be substantially complete by August 21, 2026.This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.Questions may be asked through the PennBID system. The final date to submit questions is 5:00pm, February 20, 2026.The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a separate labor and materials bond both in the amount of 100% of the contract.Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
