    Sealed bids will be received online by the Borough of West Chester via PennBid until Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 10:00 A.M., at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted via PennBid for the following contract:SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF SODA ASHBid Documents will be available on PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Messages/Vendor Discussions” feature in PennBid no later than three (3) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Borough of West Chester, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Borough of West Chester in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.No bid may be withdrawn within twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time of the bid opening or within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.A contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Borough of West Chester reserves the right to reject any, and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
