Evaluation Criteria

• Minimum Technical Requirements —

  The contractor shall provide professional commercial carpet cleaning services, including but not limited to:

  • Pre-inspection of carpeted areas.
  • Vacuuming, as needed, prior to cleaning.
  • Spot and stain treatment.
  • Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) or equivalent commercial cleaning method.
  • Deodorizing of carpeted areas.
  • Removal of dirt, debris, and stains to the greatest extent possible.
  • Grooming of carpet fibers after cleaning.
  • Drying procedures to minimize disruption to building operations.
  • Final inspection with Gary Sanitary District representative.

  The contractor shall provide all:

  • Labor
  • Equipment
  • Cleaning solutions
  • Water extraction equipment
  • Protective materials
  • Safety signage
  • Transportation
  • Disposal of waste generated during cleaning
