Sealed bids will be received online by The City of Coatesville via PennBid until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, on Monday, May 18, 2026, at which time they will be opened online and posted via PennBid for:CITY OF COATESVILLECOATESVILLE CRP INLET REPAIR AND REPLACEMENTThe project consists of the repair and replacement of twenty-eight stormwater structures (2’x4’ and 2’x6’) at locations within the City consisting of inlet grates (bike safe), inlet tops and risers, and/or inlet boxes, and includes the replacement of approximately 125 linear feet of existing storm pipe with 15-inch HDPE storm sewer pipe, the repair of a section of 42-inch diameter brick pipe, and the incidental replacement of concrete curb and pavement restoration (temporary and permanent).The work indicated will be funded in part by the Chester County Department of Community Development with partial reimbursement under the Chester County Community Revitalization Program (CRP). The solicitation process, contract and conduct of the work must meet the requirements of the grant agreement between the Owner and the County. The agreement obligates the Owner to certain compliance requirements that if not followed could cause the Owner to not receive the CRP proceeds. Bids are to be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid package. All bidders must be qualified to perform the work and shall complete the required Bidder Forms contained in the contract documents.This bid is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the PA L&I Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract Documents. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, however Owner reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law.All documents and details are available at PennBid - https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/portal/Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of The City of Coatesville or a Bid Bond in favor of The City of Coatesville in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.The work in connection with this project constitutes Public Work by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.The City of Coatesville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
