Box 899, Sparks, Georgia 31647 or delivered to 115 East Colquitt Street, Sparks, Georgia 31647. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. City of Sparks may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Fiscal Year 2021 and 2022 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG), leveling and resurfacing improvements to Rhone Street, 0.232 Miles All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Sparks in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Sparks Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Sparks, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days.
