    The City Park Revitalization Project will revitalize the City of Corona's historic 20-acre City Park with new recreational amenities while preserving its historic character and mature trees. The project includes construction of a new 70,000-square-foot, single-story Community Center featuring administrative offices, a gymnasium, game room, banquet and conference facilities, classrooms, group fitness space, locker rooms, public restrooms, and outdoor patios. A new Aquatics Center will include a 10-lane competition pool, a recreation activity pool, a lazy river, water slides, hot tub, a pool maintenance building and shaded gathering areas.Additional park improvements include a large “community canvas” multi-use turf field, splash pad, destination playground, basketball courts, skate park, pump track, one-mile walking loop, picnic shelters, a pre-engineered restroom/shower building, new parking lots with EV charging stations, comprehensive landscaping and irrigation improvements, park-wide lighting, utility upgrades, and preservation and relocation of existing trees. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and coordination necessary to construct the project in accordance with the Contract Documents while maintaining a safe work site and minimizing impacts to the surrounding community.
