    Description

    1. The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors for Countywide HVAC and Pipefitting Services and Repairs, in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation.
    2.  Wicomico County Department of General Services will secure a County-wide contract for service and repair of heating, cooling (HVAC), and certain mechanical systems in all County owned buildings.
    3. The contract shall include a regular hourly rate and an overtime rate for emergency service to perform repairs on equipment or systems.
      1. Normal working hours are defined as Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
    4. The contractor shall provide a percentage rate of mark-up on contractor supplied materials. 
      1. The Manufacturer’s/ Material Suppliers invoice shall be attached to any quote/bill submitted for materials.
    5. Mechanical systems repairs will consist of any water system repairs, including but not limited to, water heater replacement, emergency repairs, and installations.
    6. This proposal is for on-call service and repairs of equipment and systems

      1. Vendors shall include an Executive Summary of their proposal for the evaluation committee’s review.
      2. Executive Summary shall highlight important features, qualifications and special abilities, strengths, etc. of the Vendor. The Executive Summary must also include a brief statement of how the Vendor shall meet the minimum qualification criteria as set forth in the RFP.
