    ELIZABETHTOWN AREA WATER AUTHORITY will receive sealed proposals online via PennBid for the WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS Project, in accordance with the Contract Documents. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.The work generally includes the addition of a new membrane filtration skid unit, new membrane cleaning and waste neutralization systems, replacement of a two high service sendout pumps, replacement of air compressors, electrical service upgrades and other miscellaneous improvements at the Water Treatment Plant. The project is located in the Borough of Elizabethtown.A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Water Treatment Plant, located at 211 W. Hummelstown St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. The site visit will take place immediately following the pre-bid meeting.
