    *** THIS IS NOT A BID *** The description of services intended for purchase from a sole source is posted in accordance with section 3.9, Procurement Ordinance 25-11, and will be posted for a minimum of 15 business days. Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of OEM Parts and Repair Services for Vactor and Elgin Equipment Description: Lee County Fleet Management seeks to execute a sole-source procurement for OEM parts and lubricants for all repairs of six (8) pieces of equipment manufactured by Vactor and Elgin, with an additional two (2) units on order for FY26/27 by Environmental Products Group, Inc.(EPG) Additionally, EPG will provide support to Lee County with advanced scanning devices used to diagnose issues when these units become inoperable. Intended Sole Source: Environmental Products Group, Inc.(EPG) Justification for Sole Source Acquisition: Environmental Products Group (EPG) is the only authorized OEM dealer of Vactor and Elgin that can supply the necessary parts, lubricants and diagnostics equipment for Lee County’s pieces of equipment manufactured by Vactor or Elgin. OEM parts and proprietary service information are exclusively distributed to authorized dealers to ensure that every component adheres to rigorous quality standards, preserves warranty validity, and guarantees precise compatibility with the equipment’s original design. Utilizing OEM-certified parts and services is essential to maintaining the performance, safety, and longevity of these complex machines, which aftermarket alternatives cannot assure. As the sole authorized provider of Vactor and Elgin products in Florida, EPG offers unparalleled expertise and timely support, minimizing downtime and enabling Lee County’s Fleet Management to operate efficiently.
