    Description

    Bid Form and electronic copy of Bid Security for the Stafore Estates Storm Sewer Extension will be received online via the PennBid Program until 1:00 PM prevailing time on March 18, 2026. The bid tabulations from the PennBid website will be publicly opened online the same day.Final questions are due no later than 4:00 PM on March 10, 2026. A final addendum will be issued by 4:00 PM on March 13, 2026.The project consists of a storm sewer extension in the existing Stafore Estates Development mainly on Gaspar Avenue and Kim Street. Work includes installation of RCP, storm structures, vertical concrete curb, trench restoration, as well as installation of erosion and sediment control facilities and miscellaneous restoration. Bid alternates are also include for this project, such as utilizing HDPE pipe instead of RCP, extending the storm sewer system further on Kim Street, and milling/overlaying the full width of the road within the project limits. All Bid Documents and details are available at no cost online at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashier’s check, or other security acceptable, to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the Bid opening date except as permitted by law, and may not be withdrawn during this period. This Project is subject to the Davis Bacon Act conditions. This Project is subject to the Federal Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions. This Project is subject to Pennsylvania Act 287 of 1974, as amended by Act 172 of 1986, as amended by Act 38 of 1991, as amended by Act 187 of 1996. This Project is subject to the Public Works Employment Verification Act. This Contract is subject to Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 conditions.
