The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are:Farmdale Elementary School: asphalt pavement playground surface removal; removal of rubber mulch playground surface; removal of cracked concrete curb edging; installation of concrete curb edging; installation of asphalt pavement playground surface; installation of poured in place playground surface; installation of pavement markings; and other incidental work.East Petersburg Elementary School: removal of rubber mulch playground surface; removal of one piece of playground equipment; removal of cracked concrete curb edging; installation of concrete curb edging; installation of poured in place playground surface; and other incidental work.Landisville Intermediate Center: asphalt pavement playground surface removal; removal of rubber mulch playground surface; installation of asphalt pavement playground surface; installation of poured in place playground surface; installation of pavement markings; and other incidental work.Landisville Primary Center: asphalt pavement playground surface removal; removal of wood mulch playground surface; removal of concrete curb edging; removal of tree/vegetation; removal of chain link fence and gates; removal of benches; installation of asphalt pavement playground surface; installation of concrete curb edging; installation of poured in place playground surface; installation of chain link fence and gates; finished grading, topsoil placement and seeding; and other incidental work.Centerville Elementary School: asphalt playground site preparation for seal coat; hot pour crack sealant application; seal coat asphalt playground surface; installation of pavement markings; and other incidental work.All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at the PennBid website (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of a Bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Hempfield School District, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project.
