REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support issued by Capital Region Transportation Council Albany, N.Y. December 3, 2025 The Capital Region Transportation Council (Transportation Council) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) carrying out federal requirements for cooperative transportation planning and programming in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties (except for the Town of Moreau and the Village of South Glens Falls) in New York State. The Transportation Council is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals to provide Information Technology Managed Services and Operational Support services to the Transportation Council. The selected vendor is expected to provide on and off site IT and operational support to the Transportation Council, which has up to fourteen (14) full time staff. The selected vendor will deliver 24/7 monitoring, preventative maintenance, “help desk” (or similar) support, cybersecurity, strategic IT consulting, infrastructure management, and day to day operational support. In addition, the vendor is expected to be available on-site for a minimum of ten (10) hours per week to provide direct support to the Transportation Council’s staff. Vendors are expected to submit a monthly fixed fee price proposal including all costs anticipated for a twelve month period, with an option to renew annually for three additional consecutive years. Each twelve month period must be shown separately. In addition, the response should include a cover letter, detailed scope of work, a history of experience providing similar services, and a project management plan.
