    Sealed proposals will be received electronically via the PennBid Program by Jackson Township, Lebanon County for the East Main Avenue Bridge Repairs Project until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, March 13, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened, with the bid results posted on PennBid shortly thereafter.All bidding documents and specifications are available at no cost on PennBid: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.comEach proposal must be accompanied by a bank cashier's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total.The project involves various repairs at the site of a 30’ span reinforced concrete bridge, including, but not limited to, the backfilling of scour holes, removal of sediment buildup, installation of riprap scour protection and wingwall armoring, and all other associated work as more fully described in the Construction Drawings. The project also includes the implementation of erosion and sediment pollution controls, stream bypass, and other associated site work.Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids exceeding $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. Bids of $100,000 or less are exempt from prevailing wage rates.A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Jackson Township Municipal Building.Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
