    Sealed proposals will be received electronically via the PennBid Program by Jackson Township, Lebanon County for the Wheatland Woods Park – Sports Courts and Related Improvements Project until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, May 1, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened, with the bid results posted on PennBid shortly thereafter.All bidding documents and specifications are available at no cost on PennBid: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.comEach proposal must be accompanied by a bank cashier's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total.The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of trees and brush, the construction of pickleball and basketball courts, including associated grading, subbase, paving, and acrylic surfacing application, the procurement and installation of equipment and outer PVC-coated chain link fencing, the construction and associated grading of a paved 6”-wide ADA path to the sports courts from an existing parking lot, the overlay of an existing 10’-wide stone walking path, tree planting, and all other associated work as more fully described in the Construction Drawings.The bidding process, contract, and conduct of the work must meet the requirements of a Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program Grant Contract, which has been entered into by Jackson Township and the Commonwealth Financing Authority. This agreement obligates Jackson Township to meet certain compliance requirements. If the said compliance requirements are not followed, funding for the project will be at risk. The bidders’ attention is directed to Exhibit A of the bid package, which contains the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program Grant Contract requirements. This document outlines the specific requirements of the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program. Submission of a bid for this Project will be considered the Contractors acknowledgement of these requirements and commitment to adhere to the same.Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply to the project.A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Jackson Township Municipal Building.Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
