Scope of Work: Kennesaw State University (KSU) Dining Services is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit qualified secondary catering providers who will support the University¿s broad event needs. KSU Hospitality Services will serve as the Primary Caterer for all campus events. We are seeking catering services vendors to provide both formal and informal catering services for events held on both of our KSU campuses (Kennesaw and Marietta, GA). Contracted caterers will supplement KSU Hospitality Service¿s services by providing specialized support that meets the University community¿s diverse dietary needs, cultural expectations, and budgetary requirements. Vendors must have a minimum of three (3) years of catering experience, with the understanding that this requirement is negotiable and subject to further consideration and must be available seven (7) days per week. Requests may arise for events ranging from small meetings of ten (10) guests to large, formal receptions. The ability to accommodate last minute needs is essential. Catering services for KSU will be primarily managed and operated internally. Secondary caterers will provide supplemental support to KSU Hospitality Services, with a higher focus on cultural or specialty cuisines, dietary accommodations that require unique expertise, when budget considerations call for expanded flexibility, or when event volume or timing exceeds KSU Hospitality Services capacity.
