    Description

    The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Boiler & Chiller Plant Chemistry Control & Maintenance at our MDC, 620 Westfall Rd, Rochester, NY 14620 & Newark Campus, 703 E Maple Ave, Newark, NY 14513 . Contractor will be responsible to attend the mandatory site visits to take place on Wednesday, April 29 @ 9:00a for MDC & then @ 1:00p for Newark, Bldg 70 to verify knowledge of the area for which service is being requested prior to bid submission. Bids will not be accepted before the site visit or from vendors that do not attend this site visit. Vendors may also be disqualified from bidding if they arrive late to the site visit. This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid. When submitting a bid to the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) for Article 8 public work contracts, bidders must provide their NYSDOL registration number in the designated space on the bid form and submit their Certificate of Registration. Failure to provide a valid and verifiable registration number from the NYSDOL Registry and Certificate of Registration at the time of bid submission will result in disqualification of the bid. For more information and instructions on how to become registered, please visit the NYS Department of Labor website at: Contractor and Subcontractor Landing | Department of Labor. NYSDOL estimates it may take approximately 3-4 weeks to review a registration application and issue a Certificate of Registration. Please take action promptly and register now to avoid any disruptions in your bidding process or project schedule. To request an invitation for bid, reference the location and project title on company letterhead, including a current email address and or fax number.
