Through Invitation for Bids (IFB) #26P-01, Thomas P. DiNapoli, Comptroller of the State of New York, as Administrative Head of the New York State and Local Retirement System, seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide printing services. OVERVIEW NYSLRS issues a general newsletter to each of its approximately 510,000 retirees and beneficiaries twice a year. The Contractor is responsible for printing and mailing the newsletters. NYSLRS will meet with the Contractor to initiate the printing and mailing process for both the Spring/Summer Edition and Fall/Winter Edition. The Contractor shall for each edition (i) provide newsletter proofs as specified in project specifications, (ii) print the newsletter, (iii) provide a postage estimate to NYSLRS, and (iv) fold, tab, and mail the newsletter. The Contractor must have and use its own United States Postal Service (“USPS”) postal permit for domestic mailing. Newsletters must be mailed from a New York State post office. NYSLRS will provide a postage check (made out to the US Postmaster) to the Contractor to cover postage costs. NO SUBCONTRACTING: The Contractor shall not subcontract any services in this IFB. It is the Proposer’s responsibility to become aware of any such amendments and/or addenda prior to submission of a proposal.
