Anticipated Not-to-Exceed Amount of Agreement. The anticipated not-to-exceed amount for the initial two-year term of the maintenance service agreement is $100,000 ($50,000 per year). Term of Agreement: The anticipated (2) two-year term of the agreement is July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028 with the possibility of up to three (3) one-year extensions. Qualifications: Required Licenses. Contractors submitting a bid proposal and their subcontractors must possess a valid and current CSLB C-36 Plumbing Contractor’s license issued by the California Contractor’s State Licensing Board (CSLB) and comply with any other required licenses, insurance and permit requirements of the City, State and Federal governments, as well as all other requirements of the law to perform the required services. Special Requirements: DIR Registration. City will not accept a bid proposal from or enter into a contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder and its Subcontractors are registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 subject to limited legal exceptions. Prevailing Wages. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq., this Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to perform the Work, including employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, apprenticeship and similar purposes. Each worker performing work under this contract shall be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined in Sections 1771 and 1774 of the Labor Code. Rates. The prevailing rates are available online at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR . Each Contractor and Subcontractor must pay no less than the specified rates to all workers employed to work on the Project. The schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day of eight hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work must be at least time and one-half. Compliance. The Contract will be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations, pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771.4.
