Panel thickness 2 inches, ribbed exterior surface, 24 gauge hot dipped galvanized. Back cover is 26-gauge steel, poly-backed, high impact polystyrene back cover. Center and end stiles are 16-gauge steel.b) Spring counterbalance shall be sized to the weight of the door, with a helically wound, oil tempered torsion spring mounted so a steel shaft, cable drum of diecast aluminum with high strength galvanized aircraft cable. All openings shall be properly prepared and verified for wall openings to receive the new overhead door. Verify that the correct power is located at all the door openings.14. Install overhead doors and tracks in accordance with the approved shop drawings and the manufacturer’s printed instructions. Anchor the assembly to the existing wall construction and building framing without causing distortion or stress. Secure tracks to structural members only. Fit and align door assembly including hardware for proper operation of the overhead door.15. Adjust door assembly for a smooth operation and full contact with weatherstripping. Clean doors, frames, glass and all the other accessories.16. Remove only the temporary labels and any visible markings. Leave labels for warranty and maintenance requirements. Touch up damaged coating and finish and repair minor damage before turning over the completed door for bay usage.17. The County of Sumter request that the successful bidder disassemble the existing overhead door panels, tracks and any other metal parts and place in a dump trailer or flat bed truck to be provided by the County of Sumter at the job site.18. The County of Sumter will provide the successful Contractor with an electrical permit. The County will need the assistance of the electrician to complete the permit application.
