    Palmer Township will receive electronic sealed bids through the PennBID Program for the Acceptance, Processing, and Marketing of Palmer Township’s Recyclable Materials, generated from certain Residential Units, Municipal Facilities, and Community Events located within Palmer Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Collection and transportation are expressly excluded from this contract.Bids must be submitted electronically via PennBID no later than 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, on January 28, 2026.All bid documents, specifications, addenda, and communications related to this procurement are available exclusively through PennBID. Interested bidders must be registered with PennBID to obtain documents and submit bids.A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on January 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in person at the Palmer Township Municipal Building, 3 Weller Place, Palmer, PA 18045. Details to join the meeting remotely will available on PennBID.The Township anticipates award of contract on February 2, 2026, subject to review and approval by the Palmer Township Board of Supervisors, but in no event later than sixty (60) days.The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Township. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening.
