    Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Aviation, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of qualified contractor to provide preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, testing, emergency response, reporting, and limited janitorial services for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems that support the Airport¿s IT infrastructure. Services will cover MDF rooms, IDF rooms, UPS rooms, DAS rooms, communication vaults, outdoor communication pedestals, and other related IT support facilities throughout the Airport. Interested vendors during the prequalification phase will be evaluated based on their experience providing maintenance and repair services for mission-critical facilities, including HVAC, electrical, UPS, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems. Vendors must also demonstrate emergency response capabilities, regulatory compliance, and the ability to perform services safely and effectively within an active airport environment. Evaluation will also consider personnel qualifications and certifications, including licensed HVAC and electrical technicians, NICETcertified fire protection technicians, OEM-trained UPS specialists, and the firm's ability to meet stringent performance standards, response times, safety requirements, and airport security requirements. The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor ensures reliable, responsive, and high-quality maintenance services that support the continuous operation, environmental stability, electrical reliability, life-safety compliance, and overall operational readiness of the Airport¿s critical IT infrastructure systems. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide additional details and answer questions from interested vendors. We look forward to your participation.
