    The City is soliciting bids from qualified local vendors (Southern California, preferably from the San Gabriel - Pomona Valleys). The City’s newsletter, Diamond Bar Connection, is delivered to residents and businesses in a 4-page format six (6) times per year, and three (3) times per year in a six-page format. Three times per year it is expanded to a 32-page format to include the recreation activities guide. Copies of previously issued newsletters are available upon request or on the City’s website at www.diamondbarca.gov/dbconnection.City staff or designee will provide packaged file electronically to vendor and vendor shall provide full-size color proof in PDF format, printing and/or mailing services as follows:Newsletter – 4-page (6 times a year)• Flat size: 16.75” x 10.875 folded and trimmed to final size: 8.375” x 10.875”• Color: 4/4 process with bleeds• Paper: 80# with 30% PCW fiberNewsletter – 6-page (3 times a year)• Flat size: 25.125” x 10.875” folded & trimmed to 8.375” x 10.875”• Color: 4/4 process with bleeds• Paper: 80# with 30% PCW fiberRecreation Guide – 32-page, includes cover (3 times a year)• Flat size: 16.75” x 10.875”, finished size of 8.375” x 10.875, saddle stitched on 10.875” side• Color: 4/4 process with bleeds• Paper: 70# with 30% PCW fiberMailing ServicesNewsletters are to be addressed, sorted for bulk mailing by ZIP Code. Delivery is required to Chino Post Office for verification, and then to Diamond Bar DDV Post Office and Walnut DDV Post Office.• Postage will be paid using the City’s bulk permit account – permit held at the Chino Post Office.• Vendor must secure mailing list for all residential and commercial addresses in Diamond Bar, (includes 91765 and some 91789 ZIP Codes).• Vendor must submit to City a receipt from U.S. Post Office indicating mailing count, postage fees and balance for each mailing.Mailing ScheduleCity staff will coordinate mailing dates with selected vendor to ensure each issue is delivered to each residential and business address no later than the 1st of every month.
