    Description

    In accordance with the State of Florida Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act, F.S. 287.055, the City of Winter Haven (City) is requesting qualification submittals from firms permitted by law to practice Professional Engineering and Landscape Architecture in the state of Florida who specialize and have extensive experience in municipal projects.  Consideration will be given only to those firms that are qualified pursuant to law and that have been prequalified by FDOT to perform work type 3.1 – Minor Highway Design.  Consultants (prime or sub) shall be experienced and prequalified by FDOT in Lighting (Work Category 7.2), Signalization (Work Category 7.3), Control Surveying (Work Category 8.1), and Design, Right of Way, and Construction Surveying (Work Category 8.2).  All interested Firms are required to comply with Florida Statute 287.055, as applicable.

    This project is partially federally funded with assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
