    NOTICE TO BIDDERS RIDLEY TOWNSHIPSealed bids will be received by Ridley Township online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.Bonfirehub.com until 10:00 A.M., local time, on April 16, 2026. The bids received will be opened and read aloud for Dougherty-Gillespie Field Park Improvements on April 22, 2026, at the Township Meeting. The scope of work for this project includes Concrete Curb/ Walk, Paving & Rain Garden and related work. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications will be available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.Bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders.The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay the PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum award fee of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 – Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in bid being rejected.
