    Description

    Sealed proposals for “North Main Street Sewer Replacement Project” will be received by Sellersville Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, via PennBid, until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. This project will consist of replacement of approximately 95 LF of existing 8” gravity sewer main, one (1) new manhole, and encasement of two (2) stream crossings of the Unnamed Tributary of the East Branch Perkiomen Creek, adjacent to the intersection of North Main Street and Longwood Avenue. Bids will be administered via PennBid. Complete sets of contract documents are available via www.PennBid.net. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay "PennBID" a fee in accordance with their established fee schedule. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Borough of Sellersville. There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project site to familiarize themselves with the nature and scope of the work, as well as the existing site conditions and surrounding environment, before submitting their bids. Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.
